Transgender Persons Survey and counselling
The work of survey and counselling of transgender persons was started under the joint aegis of SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT DEPARTMENT, Divisional Headquarters Udaipur and VEDAGYA FOUNDATION, under which Amit Bhatt was appointed as a counsellor from Vedagya Foundation.
According to this program, the surveyor has to identify and interview transgender persons in all the Districts, Tehsils and Block areas of Udaipur division and fill up their survey forms with complete information, after that their identity cards have to be made.
For interview by the surveyor, their age, educational qualification, residence, their identity card, their information about the benefits and facilities of government schemes, their age, gender at the time of their birth, tries to get suggestions and cooperation from them.
